I've been immersed in the world of music for over 15 years right here in Centreville, MD. While you may know me as the frontman for Heavy Fred and Heavy Fred Lite, I've recently embarked on an exciting solo journey that I can't wait to share with you.

Throughout my musical career, I've had the privilege of performing alongside some of the finest local talents. While also soaking up inspiration from diverse genres and artists like Tyler Childers, Jason Isbell, Chris Stapleton, Phish, the Grateful Dead, The Talking Heads, Bahamas, Spoon, Cake, and many more. It's this eclectic mix that fuels my passion for creating unique and memorable musical experiences.

I've always had a penchant for picking covers that set me apart. You will rarely find me playing the same old tunes you hear at every other gig. I believe in crafting a setlist that's as distinctive as the music itself, and that's what keeps me going.

In addition to my music, I've dedicated the last seven years of my life to helping others in the field of substance abuse treatment. I started as a residential coordinator, then moved to the admissions department, and then became a substance abuse counselor, where I’ve been for the past five years. It's been a rewarding journey, but in 2023, I made the decision to wholeheartedly pursue my passion for performing music and my other creative endeavor, Image & Sound Media, my photography and videography business.

Though I've traveled and lived in various places, from Maryland's Eastern Shore to the breathtaking landscapes of Juneau, Alaska, my roots remain planted in Centreville, where I grew up. And speaking of roots, I have a wonderful 9-year-old son named Joey, who shares my love for music, sports, and quality time together.
